1x Handlebar
1x charger
1x instruction manual
1x Allen key
Screws
If one or more of these items are missing, please contact the seller of the product.
Unfold the scooter and lock it in the upright position.
Push down the rear wheel cover, separate the folding hook from the wheel cover buckle and then lift the front bar upwards (as shown in the illustration). If the scooter is locked in the upright position, then check this by carefully trying to fold the scooter.
Loosen the hook and remove the connector from the front bar
Use the Allen key to loosen the screws located on the hook. When you have removed the hook and the screws, also remove the plastic cover at the top of the front bar.
Place the handlebars in the front bar and fasten them again.
Insert the handlebar into the top of the front bar. Make sure that the contact poles between the handlebar and the front bar mesh well. Once the handlebar is attached, the hook can be reattached to the front bar with the two screws using the Allen key.
You should not exceed the maximum weight of 100 kg (including objects you are carrying, e.g. backpack) for using the SO1. A higher load could damage the SO1.
The control electronics of your SO1 continuously checks the proper functioning of all important components. If your SO1 detects a malfunction, this will be indicated accordingly on the display:
Error message:
E1: Communication failure
E2: Error with the brake lever
E3: Error with the throttle lever
E5: Error with the control unit
Stop using the SO1 immediately if the display shows any of these error messages. Switch the unit off and on again. Check the plug connection between the handlebar and the front bar that no contamination is affecting the contacts of the plugs. Make sure that the battery is fully charged. If the error message still persists, contact SoFlow Service using the contact form.
Always store the SO1 in a dry place. If you use the SO1 infrequently, we recommend charging the battery once a month to maintain the longevity of the battery and prevent damage. The rate of self-discharge of the battery is faster in cold temperatures (e.g. in winter) than in a warm environment. Never store the unit in direct sunlight for long periods (e.g. not in the boot of a car). The temperature of the SO1 and the battery could otherwise rise to over 50°C, which could cause irreparable damage to the unit or the battery life. At temperatures below -20°C, the battery will also suffer considerable damage.
To prevent rust on the metal parts of your SO1, you should clean and dry the unit after each use. Use a damp sponge and then dry the unit with a towel. Especially the regular cleaning of screws and oiling of ball bearings with the appropriate agents will increase the life span of the unit. Do not clean the unit with alcohol, petrol or other corrosive cleaning agents. Never use a high-pressure cleaner to clean the unit.
Repairs may only be carried out using original spare parts and by licensed service partners/dealers. Opening the unit or its components and installing non-original components of any kind will result in the immediate forfeiture of the warranty claim.
The SO1 is splash-proof according to IP54 but not waterproof. You may therefore use the SO1 in light rain and drive through shallow puddles on the ground. However, you must never immerse the SO1 in water or expose it permanently to heavy rain, otherwise the electronics may be damaged.
